Coaching is NOT therapy...

The primary difference between therapy and coaching is:

  •   In therapy, there is typically a focus on past and present whereas coaching focuses on the present and future.

  • In therapy, you must be working with a trained and licensed professional who is licensed in your state whereas coaches have diverse training and backgrounds, and are not subject to licensing requirements by state.

Great Question!

  • Over the time I have been in private practice as a therapist, I have seen so many great tools and strategies work over and over again.  Coaching gives me the opportunity to share this with you outside of the therapeutic setting.

  • With coaching we can get really specific about a certain topic or area of your life and see quick movement in a short period of time.

  • Lastly, if you are outside of Oregon, we can work together in a coaching capacity!

If you are a therapist, why do you offer coaching too?
