Therapy is like almost everything: it starts with a relationship. You don’t know me and I am not the expert on you ( I will never be the expert in this relationship). You don’t know yet if you can trust me, if I will have the answers that you’re desperately hoping to find.

But you’re here. You’ve decided that the current way isn’t the way that you want to be moving through your life and you are committed to figuring this shit out.

You’re a little skeptical about the process, but there is also hope. You feel a bit resistant about mental health therapy, therapy for anxiety and stress, yet you are curious about whether it could help.
